Cyrus: Cyrus acts as Icarus' adoptive father, giving him somewhere to stay when away from the Timekeepers. The two often have disagreements over Icarus' treatment of people not aligned with the Timekeepers, and Cyrus' practices as a necromancer. While the two genuinely care for each other, they find it hard to be together for long without some kind of argument breaking out, in part due to Icarus' short temper and poor handle over his emotions.
APA: APA is Icarus' adoptive mother, though she is less hands on in raising Icarus than Cyrus is. Despite her very existence going against the Timekeepers' laws, Icarus holds her very dear and often leans on her when he fights with Cyrus. Though they were initially afraid of each other when they first met, Icarus considers APA to be his closest companion, more like a friend than a mother.
ERA: Since ERA is Cyrus' 'daughter', ERA is Icarus' sibling in a way. He finds her frustrating, but appreciates being friends with someone his age that does not mind his complicated relationship with the Timekeepers. The two are often spotted on Cyrus' roof at night, listening to music from her music box and discussing their days. While ERA can easily overstep Icarus' boundaries, he can't imagine a life without her at this point.
ERA and Icarus later discover that the two of them are made of one soul, with ERA gaining sentience from Icarus' lost soul. This complicates their relationship, bringing them even closer yet causing them to question what parts of each other they really enjoy, and which parts are simply from their shared soul.
Tempo: Tempo is Icarus' superior, acting as an Hour while Icarus was a Minute. Icarus tries very hard to impress him, from performing his absolute best on missions to doing extra work for Tempo without credit. The two also dated for a brief period of time, adoring each other, yet Tempo did not support Icarus' acceptance of his mechanical heart. While the relationship was strained, Icarus still holds fondness for Tempo, and loved him despite not being fully accepted by him.
Solstice: Solstice and Icarus are Minutes in Tempo's group. They are relatively close, often choosing to go on missions together and spending time together outside of work.
Horatio: Horatio and Icarus are Minutes in Tempo's group. Icarus is slightly uncomfortable around him due to Horatio's fascination with mechanical parts, namely Icarus' heart. Horatio often interviews Icarus to learn more about him, with Icarus finding this fascination with his body and not his mind strange.
Aria Aria is Icarus' biological mother, and the one who installed Icarus' mechanical heart. The two have a very strained relationship, with Icarus not considering her his mother because of his missing soul. Her adoration of him makes Icarus very uncomfortable, and he has little to no interest in continuing a relationship with his mother.
